The big news yesterday was the management deal Megan Thee Stallion signed with JAY-Z and Roc Nation.
J. Prince reacted by posting a message which showed support for Carl Crawford, the baseball player turned rap boss who had signed Stallion to his 1501 label.
"The music business is a business filled with sharks and cut throat people. So Congratulations to the homie Carl Crawford owner of 1501 Records @1501_certified_ent for breaking your first artist Megan Thee Stallion @theestallion . Carl is from my hood, better known as 5th Ward and I’m proud to be his new partner moving forward. Surprise to all that had plans on taking something from him, good luck with that. This is just the beginning."
For his part, Crawford offered up a message that suggests things between him and Roc will be fine.
