You ever wonder what happened to J-Kwon?
The "Tipsey" rapper is only 32. But nobody's really heard much from him since "Tipsey" blew up around 2004.
For a while in 2010 he was literally missing -- as in his record label at the time had no idea where he was and were very worried about him.
"J-Kwon is a big part of the Gracie family, and we are obviously increasingly worried and want to make sure he is OK," Gracie Productions CEO/President Tony Bucher said at the time. "We've already received thousands of e-mails from fans and supporters who are worried about J-Kwon, and we want everyone to know how much we appreciate the love and support. If anyone has seen J-Kwon or has access to him, please let him know we are worried about him, and to please let us know everything is ok."
They eventually found him.
Fast forward eight years later and Kwon was highly visible a few nights ago at his original label So So Def's 25th-anniversary party in Los Angeles.
"Jermaine Du-fucking-Pri. I want to thank you for giving me millions when nobody would put up the money. I heard them say everybody else's name, but I got an 800 something polo on and they didn't say mine. My name is J-Kwon," J-Kwon said, before playing his one hit.
Other friends and artists of Dupri like Da Brat, Jeezy, Waka Flocka, Jagged Edge and Nelly (who got up on stage with J-Kwon) were also at the party.
Does it please you to know J-Kwon still exists and wears fancy shirts?
