J. Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive is one of the most anticipated albums of the year. It arrives on December 9, but a Dallas woman has already heard it. Why? She simply tweeted at the 29-year old when he said he was coming to town. Cole responded with this message.
Send me DM with your address I'll come play u the album. @DaliaDk “@JColeNC: Dallas we hereeeeee” we gotta see you tonightNot long after, Cole was at her house album in hand. Dalia was obviously thrilled.

Cole has taken a non-traditional approach to promoting 2014 Forest Hills Drive. He's released no singles, in part because he wants listeners to hear the album as a whole. In addition to his Texas pop-in, Cole is hosting a pre-release listening party at 2014 Forest Hills Drive in Fayetteville, North Carolina -- which was his childhood home. To get invited, fans can sign up for a raffle on Cole's site. (The house isn't big enough for everybody.)
The last time we heard about this type of listening party it was for Kanye West's Paris album, and it included models and celebrities. Cole is obviously taking a different tack.
