J. Cole has been teasing his album The Fall Off since November 2019.
But talk of the LP increased earlier this month after EARTHGANG rapper Olu said the album was on its way.
After people expressed excitement, Dreamville's president Ibrahim said Olu was just goofing off and there wouldn't be a new album coming soon.
Cole announced today that the project is on its way, and he's dropping the first two singles this Wednesday.
One cut that he produced is called "The Climb Back" and the second is titled "Lion King on Ice" that was produced by Cole, T-Minus, and Jetson.
"The Climb Back - produced by me," wrote Cole, who recently explained why he hasn't collaborated with other rappers much. "Lion King on Ice - produced by J. Cole, T-Minues, and Jetson. First 2 songs from the Fall Off. Dropping tomorrow night 10pm. No date for the album yet, taking my time, still finishing."
Ibrahim also responded to the album dropping.
😂😂😂 I never lied. I said no album coming soon, never said no album coming. Sorry for the misunderstanding though. Always Love https://t.co/no8WTQsLKX
