Bobby Shmurda has said repeatedly that he got locked up because the NYPD was out to get him.
His lawyer doesn't seem to be doing him any favors either.
Before Shmurda faces his original drugs, guns and conspiracy to commit murder charges, he has deal with charges of promoting prison contraband, perjury and criminal possession of a weapon stemming from a jailhouse shiv incident last year.
According to Bossip, Shmurda was in court yesterday on the latter charges, but his lawyer Alex Spiro flat out didn't show up.
When asked by the judge why he was without attorney, Shmurda said, “I called him, and he said he’s on vacation and then has a trial that starts in July."
The judge responded that Shmurda would have to "languish in jail" until his lawyer started coming to court.
It turns out Spiro didn't show up for Shmurda's April 29th hearing on the original charges either.
"You need to let him know that you pay his salary and if he wants to get paid, he needs to come here," the judge told Shmurda.
