During Irv Gotti's Vlad TV interview he said some interesting things about Suge Knight, with whom he has a good relationship.
First, he spoke on getting Suge not to release a Jennifer Lopez sex tape by telling him J-Lo was like a sister to him.
Then, he discussed asking Suge for the 2Pac sample that became Ja Rule's track "The Pledge". During their meeting about the sample, Suge compared Ja to Pac and then gave them the sample for free.
"He asked Ja, what's you're five-year goal. And Ja, in true fashion, smoking a blunt, said "sky's the limit. And Suge actually broke down. He said my man said the same thing. You remind me of my man. He broke down. Real tears. If you have see a big man [with] silent tears. That sh** is scary," Gotti remembered.
"He gave it to us for free. He could have charged us half a million. Not only did we use the masters, we used his voice. We used everything."
