Irv Gotti Speaks On How He Discovered Nelly Was Banging His Girl Ashanti

During Irv Gotti's appearance on Drink Champs, he spoke about how he found out his girl Ashanti was getting busy with famous rapper Nelly.

"At the time it happens any man it hurts.  The ch*ck you in love with is with this n*gga.  You wanna hear how I found out? "I was at home... listen to this shit. This is God wanted me to find out. I was at home. NBA package, I like watching sports. 'Oh my God, what's this commotion going on in the stadium?'" Irv said mimicking an announcer.  I just found out what the commotion is. Nelly just walked in with Ashanti.'"

When Gotti was with Ashanti, who was his Murder Inc artist, he was still married to Debra Lorenzo, the mother of his children.  So he can't complain too much about the bandaid man busting his groove. 

Last year, Ashanti said she was going to rerecord all of the albums she did with Gotti and Murder Inc so she could get the publishing.

That pissed Irv off.

“I produced all those great Ashanti albums,” Gotti said at the time. “So I also own a good portion of the Publishing. What she is trying to do is re record all those great records. And put them out on her label. She can do this under the COVER laws. But she is basically trying to fuck me out of my Masters. And make people decide which album to listen too or stream. Hoping her loyal fans will choose her version.  But hey.  I stand on the Magic that was created.  And I wanna see her duplicate that Magic.  It's f*cked up really.  But such is live."
