Irv Gotti Says His Sexual Assault Accuser Tried To Hustle Him For Money

by Daryl Nelson

Irv Gotti was sued for sexual assault and rape this week, but he hasn't spoken about it yet.

One of his reps did, though, and that person said the woman only filed the suit after she tried to get money from the Murder Inc. boss.

"[The civil suit] was filed after Mr. Gotti rejected the attempt by this individual to coerce a payment of money from him," said the rep. "The lawsuit contains a single page of 'facts' which are unsworn to, sparse by any measure, and which Mr. Gotti categorically denies."

"The allegations represent an affront to women who have truly suffered abuse," that person added. "Mr. Gotti has been surrounded by strong women the entirety of his life – his mother, five sisters, and daughter. The top employees at his company are women. Mr. Gotti’s relationships with women have been characterized by mutual respect, honesty, and empathy. Mr. Gotti’s reputation has been placed at issue."

(The rep must have forgotten about how Irv treated Ashanti before and after their unbalanced relationship.)

As for the civil suit, the woman, listed as Jane Doe, said Irv raped her in Miami, Atlanta, and Saint Martin, in the Caribbean. She also said that he forced her to give him oral sex in public places since they met in 2020.

Irv is now thinking about suing the woman for defamation, according to his rep.
