There's been a lot of talk that DMX had COVID-19 before he died on Friday, April 9, which Irv Gotti confirmed during a recent interview.
Gotti, who signed X to Def Jam when he was an A&R at the label, also confirmed that his death had to do with receiving bad drugs. The rapper died after having a heart attack that was triggered by a drug overdose.
"He had COVID, too,"said Gotti about X. "They said it was a bad dose of crack and some drug Fentanyl was mixed in with the crack and that's what made him overdose. Then when he got to the hospital, he got diagnosed with COVID and he couldn't breath, so that's why he had to get hooked up to the ventilator."
Do you think X's family is cool with Gotti revealing all of these details?
