Whether talking about his alleged romance with Ashanti or explaining why he fell out with Jennifer Lopez, Irv Gotti's interview on Drink Champs has a bunch of memorable moments.
One in particular is when the music exec explained why he won't be giving Ashanti back her master recordings.
Last year, the R&B singer told Tamron Hall that she'll be re-recording her self-titled debut, something that Irv also addressed.
"I feel I was always very good to my artists," he explained. "Artists have a way of getting money. Rule makes a lotta money doing shows, Ashanti makes a lotta money doing shows. So, what's left for the guy who was the record label who helped make the record? How I make money out of this, is the masters. So, how am I supposed to feel when you want to remove that aspect? You really basically saying you don't want [my children] them to eat."
Who are you siding with on this one, Irv or Ashanti?
