We have all sorts of evidence that Drake had a dominant 2016.
IFPI, a Swiss organization that tracks and campaigns for recording industries worldwide, added all of that evidence up and named Drake the artist of 2016.
According to their website, their artist of the year award is a “unique and authoritative accolade that reflects an artist’s worldwide success across physical and digital formats, including downloads and streams.”
