Either Baylee Curran or Chris Brown is lying about what happened during an incident at Brown's home last week.
And whoever it is is likely going to pay for their deception.
In an interview today with ABC, Brown's attorney Mark Geragos revealed text messages sent by Curran that would prove she made up the story about Brown putting a gun to her head.
"This freak Chris Brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friends jewelry fake," the first message reads. "I'm going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me, and that will teach him a lesson I'm going to set his ass up," she continues.Curran is claiming the texts are fake, and has promised to continue to pursue charges against Brown -- who continues to proclaim his innocence.
The validity of the messages should be able to be confirmed by various technologies. So we should soon know who's telling the truth.
Brown is next due in court on September 20. It's possible Curran could be the one facing charges by then.
