Celtics coach Ime Udoka was suspended for a year for improper relations with a Celtics employee.
That employee was the team service manager Kathleen Nimmo Lynch. One of Lynch's tasks was arranging travel for the families of the Celtics players, coaches, and front office, and she was considered Udoka's subordinate.
Lynch, 34, is a mother of three and a devout Mormon. She was hired because of her friendship with the daughter of former Celtics' boss (and devout Mormom) Danny Ainge.
Her husband doesn't appear to work for the Celtics, contrary to previous reports.
Nimmo Lynch's name and photo have been floating around since the scandal broke. According to sources who spoke to the DailyMail, she is devastated and won't go outside for fear of being noticed.
"She can't even go to a grocery store," one person said.
The affair between Lynch and Udoka was over before investigators got involved. While it was initially reported as completely "consensual", the law firm investigating the incident found that Udoka used crude language in his dialogue with Nimmo prior to the start of an improper workplace relationship with a subordinate.
There have also been rumors that Udoka engaged in other improper acts with other women.
