Iggy Azalea hit Twitter today with a huge announcement, informing her almost eight million followers that she is finally unsigned.
Iggy was initially signed to Def Jam where she released her debut album The New Classic in 2014, but moved on to Island Records after her projects kept having delays at Def Jam.
In August 2018, Iggy released the Survive the Summer EP. Just a few months later, she is officially off-Island Records and a free agent.
I’m officially unsigned !!!!

Iam no where near ready direction wise etc with the stuff I’ve been working on and I don’t wanna jump the gun and have some messy era aesthetically.
I’m aiming to be ready to share new music early next year!
It looks Iggy is ready to get to work, but won't be releasing any new music until 2019. She even offered features to her Twitter followers.
Yup! Still in the studio!
