Move over Wiz and Amber, Paula and Robin. Iggy Azalea' celebrity divorce, which just hit the news this morning, takes the cake because the Australian booty shaker claims she has no idea that she was married.
TMZ has unearthed documents filed in Texas by Hefe Wine (aka Maurice Williams), Iggy's ex-boyfriend, in which he seeks to end what he says is a common law marriage to Azalea.
Wine claims that he and Iggy "agreed to be married, holding themselves out as man and wife and began residing together in the State of Texas on or about September, 2008" and only stopped living together last year.
In Texas, that would qualify as a common law marriage, and Wine would have a claim on 50 percent of the assets Azalea accumulated during their union, which could include millions in song rights.
Azalea denies she ever agreed to marry Wine, and her rep called the move a "desperate money grab."
If you remember the name Hefe Wine, that's because he was shopping an Azalea sex tape about a month ago, but so far that hasn't materialized. He's also claimed he has unreleased Iggy tracks on his computer -- which she says he stole from her.
Now it's up to a judge to decide whether or not Iggy is a married woman.
We wonder what her boyfriend Nick Young thinks about all of this. Or, better yet, Kobe Bryant.
