Iggy Azalea Was Google's Most Searched Music Artist of 2014 (Nicki Was 6th)

In 2014, folks wanted to learn more about Iggy Azalea. The Australian import was the most searched music artist on Google this year, beating out Lorde and Sam Smith.

Meghan Trainor came fourth, followed by Solange Knowles (who was being searched for things having nothing to do with her music career), and then Nicki Minaj.

Weird Al, Sia, Daft Punk and Taylor Swift rounded out the top ten.

Additionally, Azalea's song 'Fancy' had the third most searched lyrics of 2014. Nicki Minaj's 'Anaconda' was second and 'Say Something' from pop group Great Big World was most searched.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian had the most searched celebrity wedding, edging out Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
