In March, Iggy Azalea pushed back her Great Escape tour, citing "production delays."
At the time we speculated the real reason was that the Australian import hadn't been able to fill up any of the large 15-20,000 seat arenas the tour had scheduled, and that the tour would ultimately either be cancelled or moved to smaller venues.
Yesterday, it was cancelled.
"The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience," read an email sent to all Great Escape tour ticket holders. This adds to a tough year for Iggy, which includes award show controversy, social media abuse, plastic surgery snark and just general hate.
