The Floyd Mayweather-Conor McGregor fight should have the biggest payday in boxing history, with Money getting between $200 and $300 million and McGregor taking in $100 million.
Thanks to some fortunate scheduling, Ice Cube may also be getting paid.
You see, Ice Cube booked the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas on August 26th for the championship of his new BIG3 3-on-3 basketball league. That happens to be the date and venue the Mayweather-McGregor folks want for the fight.
While the new bball league has promise, there's no way its final is going to be as big a deal as the superfight.
As such, Cube, who founded BIG3 with entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz, is happy to give over the date ... for a price.
He discussed the situation this morning on Undisputed.
"If they do what they supposed to do and make us happy, we'll move," Cube said. The rich get richer.
