Hundreds Of Teens Riot At The Queens Center mall

Things got completely out of control at a New York Mall recently, after students had a half-day from school.

Police say around 1,000 students caused a huge commotion at the Queens Center Mall Friday afternoon and at least one person was beaten and robbed.

According to CBS2, a young female is in Jamaica Hospital for cuts and bruises after she was beaten and robbed of her cell phone.

Supposedly, fake money was being thrown, which caused more of a commotion, and then a full-on riot started and spilled out into the street, where one person was seen being kicked while down. 

“People getting dragged around like rag dolls, it was everyone, teenagers to adults."

The NYPD descended upon the mall in droves and defused the situation, also not allowing any teens to enter the mall for the rest of the night.

Eventually, things settled down and things went back to normal for the rest of the night.
