Hotboy Ju Becomes The Latest Rapper Killed On The Road

Sacramento rapper Hotboy Ju is dead after being shot in a car-to-car shooting in his hometown's  North Highlands area.

“There was another vehicle that drove in close proximity to it and fired off several rounds,"  Sgt. Rod Grassman said, adding Ju was a passenger in his vehicle.

The shooting occurred at 3 PM on Sunday.  Paramedics gave Ju CPR before he was pronounced dead at a local hospital.

Police have no suspects and are treating the incident as a homicide. 

Last week, San Diego rapper OG YD was similarly shot and killed on the road.

Dallas rapper Mo3 and Houston spitter Chucky Trill both also met their end in recent highway shootings.
