A few months ago, NBA YoungBoy claimed he's never made any money off of YouTube despite being one of the most spun artists on the platform.
According to DJ Akademiks, YB's label, Atlantic, is making around 17 million a year on the YoungBoy YouTube page.
"NBA YoungBoy YouTube Page generates 292 million views a month. Which means YouTube Pays out his Label Approximately $1.4 million a month. Approximately $16.8 million per year just for his YouTube content," Ak explained.
YoungBoy has been ripping Atlantic on social media and telling other artists to avoid the label.
"Don’t sign to atlantic,"YoungBoy typed on a recent (now deleted) IG post.
Seems like his gripe is legit.
