Here's How Jeezy Popped The Question to Jeanne Mai

Jeezy and The Real's Jeanne Mai confirmed their relationship in Sept. of last year and got engaged earlier this month.

The two were supposed to be going on a trip to Vietnam with their families before they got engaged, but the Coronavirus ruined those plans. 

So Mai said Jeezy made up for the cancelled trip by bringing elements of the country to her, like having a bunch of Vietnamese dishes prepared. She used a 14-minute video to explain just how the proposal went down.

"I completely froze, because I just could not believe that he did this,” she said. “I then at that very moment figured it all out: Jay had planned to propose to me in Vietnam. The reason he brought Vietnam to me is because he didn’t want the quarantine to stop the fact that he wanted to propose to me. Jay is my soulmate."
