Last week, Gunna was turned down for bond for the third time even though he has been dropped from any violent acts in the RICO charge against him and has yet to be named by a single witness.
Fulton County prosecutors believe Gunna, Young Thug, and all the YSLs on the RICO are a threat to witnesses and need to stay locked up. So far, the judge has agreed.
Gunna's attorney Steve Sadow has now filed a fourth motion for bond.
“The defense produced real evidence that Kitchens is a good candidate for pretrial bond and has offered an abundance of conditions that will reasonably assure the Court that Kitchens poses no significant risk or threat to any person,” reads the filing. “Yet, for some unknown reason, the Court has repeatedly ignored this evidence and the proposed conditions.”
Gunna was supposed to go to trial in January. However, Fulton County DA Fani Willis wants to push it back to at least March.
