Gucci Mane hasn't been on The Breakfast Club since revealing he was banned because he embarrassed Angela Yee a few years back by claiming she wanted his D and then producing a clip of her flirting with him when she denied his claim.
Gucci did recently do Charlamagne tha God's podcast. During the chat, he explained why he'd never say sorry to Yee.
"I didn't apologize to Angela Yee because I didn't nothing to her. So I didn't feel like I was sorry. I meant no disrespect to that girl. I was not trying to humiliate the girl or embarrass her. I'm just defending myself," Gucci said.
CTG then denied Gucci had been banned from The Breakfast Club, but conceded it probably looks like he is because he didn't stop on the morning radio show during his current press run for Woptober II yet did do GTG's solo program.
"It came from that punk ass bitch [Yee]. And DJ Envy—he’s a pussy, too," Gucci said when GTG asked him who gave him the impression he was banned. "Envy’s pussy, man. He's scared. Where's he at?"
CTG wondered why Gucci was mad at Envy too.
"He seems like he something to say about me," he said of Envy. "I'm going to give him his face-to-face. I didn't know me and him had no issue. I have an issue with him now. I'm going to step to him. Just like he stepped to them people who were talking about his wife [Desus and Mero.] He confronted them. So I'm going to confront him about [Angela Yee] and if he comes at me wrong I'm going to slap the sht out of him. It ain't going to be his first time getting slapped."
Charlamagne still couldn't figure out exactly why Gucci wanted a piece of Envy and offered to mediate between the two. Gucci suggested it had something to do with Envy playing a tape of Gucci's wife, but wouldn't elaborate.
