OJ The Juiceman was featured on the R. Kelly track 2009 "Supaman High".
In an interview with Countryraptunes, OJ revealed that Gucci ghostwrote for Kelly on the cut.
"Gucci wrote the hook...no, I wrote the hook," OJ explained. "Gucci wrote R. Kelly's verse. And R. Kelly kept Gucci's ad-libs. If you listen deep into it R. Kelly singing and sh*t, you will hear Gucci."
OJ went on to say that the label got him and Gucci to write for Kelly.
"The label [said] R. Kelly got this record. He need a hook and a verse," he said. "The label put the call in. R. Kelly? Hell yeah! I was happy as hell to do that sh*t. Me to be a trap rapper rapping about dope and sh*t? R. Kelly? God-damn, c'mon man."
R Kelly is currently in jail in Chicago awaiting trial without a date on all sorts of sex crimes. Maybe the now-reformed Gucci could also help him navigate prison.
Do you hear Gucci in "Supaman High?"
