If 2022 was any indication, GloRilla has a bright future ahead of her.
First, her "F.N.F. (Let's Go)" single is everywhere, as is her Cardi B-assisted cut "Tomorrow." She's inked a deal with Yo Gotti's CMG label as well.
So, all of that obviously means that GloRilla is in a better place financially than she was, say, this time last year, but it's caused her a lot of problems.
In an interview with The Cut, the Memphis rapper said she cut a lot of people off who tried to use her for money.
“Me blowing up changed a lot,” said GloRilla. “Like 50 percent of my family ... Money change the people around you. It don’t change you, per se. It fasho change people around you, though ... I don’t got a problem cutting people off, and I don’t know if that’s a good thing or a bad thing. But I have no problem cutting people off once I see what type of stuff they be on ... They just got to go. Because it ain’t no room for that no more. I’m on a whole ’nother level now, and if you’re still on bullsh*t, then I just don’t want to talk to you."
Hopefully, she'll be able to navigate all of the pressures of having money all of a sudden.
