Gillie Da Kid ticked off a lot of people earlier this month when an old video of him saying that All Lives Matter resurfaced.
It’s something that Joe Budden responded to afterward, and Gillie shot back on his podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game that he has with Barstool Sports
"All Lives Matter, I don't give a f*ck if you white, black, blue, purple, brown, tangerine," said Gillie in the clip. "Ya'll want a n*gga to go out here headfirst and tell all of these white people Black Lives Matter. But my Black life didn't matter to the n*gga that tried to execute me. To the n*gga that shot me in my wrist, stomach and foot. The n*gga that tried to have my mommy singing 'It's So Hard To Say Goodbye.' My Black life didn't matter to him, all the n*ggas I knew been shot by n*ggas."
Budden replayed the Philly’s native’s words on his podcast and then tore into him.
“Yeah, I’m not caping for this n*gga, man,” said Joe. “This n*gga says and does a lotta stupid, doofy, goofball sh*t and ever since he got that Barstool deal, it’s amplified. I’m not dignifying any conversation about the response to Black Lives Matter being it should matter to black people. "
Gillie then shot back.
"He called me a doofus," said the Philly native. "I'm from the streets man, I don't know what a doofus is. I'm sorry. You have to explain that to me, is that in the dictionary? That was some real suburban sh*t. Then he went on a rant about me for a long time. He was sweating. It wasn't even hot in there and he was sweating."
"Obviously I got a n*gga in his feelings," Gillie continued. "Was it because I brought up the story of your people getting slapped? One thing about me is I speak the truth. I say what the f*ck I want. I know what this really about. You a smart guy, you know sh*t start from the ground up. Everything start from the roots, and the roots hold up the tree. The n*ggas on the ground level don't f*ck with you. They f*ck with me. That's what's really hurting your feelings ... Even the n*gga sitting beside you recognize the hate."
We'll have to see where this beef goes.
