George Floyd's Family Considering Suing Kanye West For Slander

by HHL JT

During his wild Drink Champ interview, Kanye West argued that George Floyd died from fentanyl, not from Derek Chauvin's knee.

“They hit him with the fentanyl. If you look, the guy’s knee wasn’t even on his neck like that,” West claimed on Sunday’s episode of the Revolt TV show “Drink Champs.”

Floyd did have a small amount of fentanyl in his system when he died.  However, both the coroner and medical experts concluded that his death was from being denied oxygen due to pressure on his neck.

This afternoon, Floyd's family lawyer Lee Merritt Tweeted that his clients are considering suing Ye was his slander.

While one cannot defame the dead, the family of #GeorgeFloyd is considering suit for Kanye’s false statements about the manner of his death.

Claiming Floyd died from fentanyl not the brutality established criminally and civilly undermines & diminishes the Floyd family’s fight.

Perhaps Meek Mill and Diddy, who Ye claimed are working for the Feds, will sue to.
