Earlier this week, New York prosecutors announced a 76 count indictment against 18 members of the No Love City gang, who they say caused "a wave of terror and enormous bloodshed” throughout Brooklyn. The charges include murder, attempted murder, and weapons possession.

The gang and its arrest have a couple of connections to the Hip Hop world:

Prosecutors say the gang was responsible for a shoot out near the set of Meek Mill's video for 'Lord Knows' in June. Brooklyn District Attorney Ken Thompson told reporters that the gang waited with weapons outside the shoot for rival gang members.

"When they came outside, an all-out gun battle erupted right on the streets of Dumbo [In Brooklyn], where these gangs were shooting at each other more than 10 times," Thompson explained.
The other connection is through poor Bobby Shmurda. The same cops -- the NYPD’s Gun Violence Suppression Division -- who arrested Shmurda and his GS9 boys also took down No Love City.
