G Herbo, Who's Going To Prison for Fraud, Sues His Manager For Ripping Him Off

Earlier this year, G Herbo pleaded guilty to federal charges of running a multi-year, multi-million dollar fraud scheme, which was used to finance the purchase of luxury goods.

He will likely get three years when sentenced.

Now he's suing his ex-manager Joseph “JB” Bowden and Bowden's label, Machine Entertainment, for $40 million, claiming they financially manipulated him with “unfair and one-sided deals” when he was a minor.

The suit says the deals were designed to keep him in debt forever.

“Because [G Herbo’s] money was controlled by [Bowden and Machine], [G Herbo] was forced to ask Bowden to make purchases on his behalf, including for vehicles, [G Herbo’s] rent, and his mother’s rent,” the rapper’s lawyer, Marguerite E. Patrick, said. “Bowden’s conduct, in depriving [G Herbo] of his own funds, was designed to prevent [G Herbo] from leaving Machine or from being able to successfully work with another business manager who would actually look out for [G Herbo’s] best interests."

Herbo currently owes his label $8.2 million
