As of now, A$AP Rocky is still sitting in a Swedish prison.
While he waits to find out his fate, Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and even President Donald Trump are pushing to have the Harlem rapper released.
Rocky is being held for a beatdown he and his crew gave a man after the man followed and harrassed them for hours in the Sweden streets.
Now, rapper G Eazy is speaking up.
If you remember, G Eazy was arrested in Stockholm after punching a security guard in a club and snorting coke using a $100 bill. He was arrested for assault, possession of drugs and use of narcotics, yet prosecutors allowed him to strike a deal less than two days later.
G Eazy did plead guilty to violent resistance, a crime of violence against an official and illegal drug possession. He paid a $10k fine, got probation and had to pay the security guard $900.
But he was released and allowed to go home, unlike A$AP Rocky.
Facts. This is the sad truth...The difference between me and Rocky’s treatment and process in Sweden brings to mind two concepts that disgustingly go hand in hand: white privilege and systemic racism.
Let's call it what it is.
He should not be behind bars right now. My heart goes out to my brother @asaprocky and his team. We're riding for yall.

Even Jada Pinkett Smith chimed in about the huge discrepancies in the cases.
Hold it ... G-Eazy got to strike a deal a day and half after possession of drugs and assault charges??? But you’re holding Rocky. We got the message loud and clear Sweden. Trust me ... we got it.

Do you think Rocky is being held because he's black?
