Future Postpones Virginia Tour Stops Out Of 'Respect'

by HHL Editors

Virginia is still reeling from the tragic events of last weekend.

Right-wing groups marched on the college town of Charlottesville, demanding a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee remain up. In the violence that followed, a white supremacist drove into a group of counter-protesters, killing 32-year-old Heather Heyer. Two police officers were also killed in a helicopter crash.

Future's Nobody's Safe tour was supposed to hit Charlottesville tomorrow and then Virginia Beach on Sunday. But he's decided to postpone both VA shows out of "respect for the tragic events."

Out of respect for the tragic events I felt it wasn't rite to perform at this time..please understand my heart mean well VA #FutureHendrix

SZA also canceled a show in Virginia this week, although that appears to have been unrelated to what happened in Charlottesville.

Do you think Future should have postponed, or is music what Virginia needs right now?

Future hasn't announced any makeup dates.
