A few days ago, Future called out young rappers for not giving him the proper respect.
"Enough of these lil niggas running round like I ain't make y'all," he tweeted. "I been humble way too long. Your titles and flows came from me ... Your ad libs mines."
While some may have disagreed with Hendrix, the Goodie Mob's Big Gipp didn't.
"These last five years, with the great explosion of Drake, the only person who's been able to stand next to Drake and go on the road with Drake, has been Future," he told TMZ. "And I just think the success of the new rappers and the new crews are coming in, now you got the success of the Migos, you got the success of Lil Baby and a lot of the young guys, instead of them saying we give it up to Gucci and Future, I just think they're giving it up to Gucci"
"It's warranted to give a lot of things that the young rappers are giving to Gucci," added Gipp. "But you have to give a lot of credit to Future for being the person to fill those spaces when Gucci wasn't there."
Do you agree with him? Should Future get the same amount of credit as Gucci when it comes to inspiring the younger rappers?
