JAY-Z's most famous line on his new album 4:44 turned out to be the one about money phones.
You’re on the Gram holding money to your ear, there’s a disconnect / We don’t call that money over here,” Hov raps.Future, Boosie Badazz, Drake and Blac Youngsta have all objected to that advice, and have made it clear they will continue to put cash to the side of their head if that’s what they feel like doing.

In his Rap Radar interview that aired yesterday, Hov expressed surprise that the line got so much blowback.
"I didn’t even tell people to stop using the money phone," he admits. "I didn’t say that. I had to listen again like 'How is this being misinterpreted?' because I just said it ain’t money to us. It ain’t. That’s just an honest statement."He then clarified what he meant about real money:
"Money to us, me and my three friends on the floor at Golden State, not because the seats are expensive but because that’s what we’re doing, you’ve never seen that," he said. "Or, building brands and pushing it forward. That can’t be the end all, that can’t be our goal, to get money and show it on the Internet. That can’t be our goal, that’s some corny shit."Future, who has probably been the biggest critic of the line, seemed to clap back on Twitter after hearing Hov's clarification.
