Kori Ali Muhammad was arrested today for killing three people during a shooting rampage outside of a Catholic charities office in Fresno, California. He is also suspected in the fatal shooting of a security guard last week.
Muhammad, who was Kori Taylor until he changed his name as teenager, yelled Allahu Akbar when taken in by the police.
The 39-year old appeared to be targeting white men in the attacks, and his social media postings had multiple references to violent conflict between blacks and whites. His father Vincent Taylor told the LA Times that he thinks his son committed the murders as part of a race war Muhammed believes is ongoing.
Muhammad was also a rapper, and earlier this year he released racially themed Hip Hop album called True Story Kori under the name B-God MacSun.
The Feds are investigating any possible ties to terrorist groups.
