French Montana Says Akon Gave Him a Fake Watch

French Montana is all about exchanging fancy, shiny gifts with other men.

About ten years ago, Akon got French what he thought was a baller watch for his birthday.

As it turns out, it was not a baller watch.

"It wasn't iced out," French said of the gift. And you know, I like sh*t with diamonds. So a took it to my jeweler and was like, 'yo can you switch it for me. Akon gave it to me for my birthday.' He looked at me and was like 'What you mean? Akon did not give you this, my guy ... So I'm like, yo, either my jeweler's playing with me or Akon made a mistake. So I just called him. Still waiting for the real one." 

According to French, Akon said he was going to clear up the situation with the guy who sold him the watch, but then Akon never got back to French.

Luckily, Weeknd gave French an even more baller watch for his birthday years later.
