Former Los Angeles drug lord Freeway Rick Ross said he doesn't appreciate the rapper Rick Ross using his name without permission.
Freeway was a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience and was asked if he's ever seen anyone confront Rozay over the name.

"Not in person, no," he answered. "Anytime I'm around he disappears ... How would you take my name and not have the decency to ask me, first of all? You should’ve asked. But then never pay homage? He won’t even admit he stole the name. He tells people that he invented the name."
This isn't the first time that Freeway has blasted Rozay over his name. He once accused the rapper of making a mockery of it. Freeway has also tried to sue him three times, but he wasn't successful.
Who knows? Maybe Rozay will respond to this latest interview.
