Freddie Gibbs just did Joe Rogan's show.
During their chat, they discussed the recent controversy over Rogan's past use of the n-word, which he has apologized for.
Gibbs joked with Rogan that he'd been willing to say the word for him, so he wouldn't have to say awkwardly say "n-word".
He also said he wasn't really offended by Rogan's past usage of the word.
"I don't think you're racist, my n*gga," he explained. "You my n*gga, I fu*k with you. I never thought you was a racist. I just thought you was saying some sh*t you shouldn't have said and a lot of us n*ggas say some sh*t we shouldn't say sometimes, but it is what it is."
"I wanna tell white people right now, y'all just gotta let us have that," Gibb said. "Like, just let us have 'n*gga.' We got it. It's one thing, y'all already human trafficked us over here. Let us have that."
They went on to discuss what a versatile word the n-word is and discussed other racial slurs used against both white and Black people.
So Spotify is probably going to have to quietly delete this episode at some point.
