Freddie Gibbs recently hit up The Breakfast Club for an interview and spoke about being jumped by Benny The Butcher's crew in a Buffalo restaurant back in May.
The two used to be cool with each other and collaborated on music. That was until Benny said his time working with the Indiana rapper "came and went." [Jump to the 16:45 mark]
"All the incidents you see, I was just eating with my girl. I don’t go out trying to start nothing with nobody… I like to fight,” said Freddie during his interview. “Either time could’ve been bad, but everybody naming these rappers and stuff but ain’t no rapper ever hit me ... I’ve been in way worse situations than that. I can’t control if you bring 30 people to a restaurant with a camera crew to humiliate me but you end up losing.”
Gibbs talked about his fight with Jim Jones as well, since they reportedly scuffled in a Miami restaurant in December of 2021.
“It was some furniture moving, but it was a food fight or something like that,” he said. "It wasn’t nothing crazy like that. Nobody got f*cked up to that point."
