Naming rap tracks after famous people has been a thing for a minute now.
It's always an honor to be chosen as a song title because it means an artist thinks their fans will know who you are.
Forest Whitaker got that honor bestowed on him by the Migos in 2015 by getting a track on trio's Back To The Bando tape. He explained his first reaction to "Forest Whitaker on MSNBC's The Beat with Ari Melber.
"The first time I think I heard it, my daughter called me from school, and told me they’re playing this song, and I listened to it. It’s really pretty brilliant how they took all of these films I’ve done and put them together in this amazing song, that’s quite surprising actually,” he said.
The Migos were certainly more respectful to the acting legend than Charlamange was.
