Back in January, Jacksonville, Florida rapper Charles Quentin "Lilbucks" McCormick Jr. was shot and killed in a midmorning driveby at a local shopping center.
An off-duty cop happened to witness the shooting and pursued two men, who quickly crashed their car. Their crime spree would continue when they escaped the wreckage and committed a home invasion in which they briefly took hostage a few blocks from the shooting.
Nine months later, Hakeem Robinson -- who raps under the name KSOO -- was arrested for the second-degree murder of Lilbucks. As an added bonus, his father Abdul Robinson, 49, was charged with accessory after the fact, a capital felony.
KSOO got some attention last year with an album cover that featured murder victims. According to one of the mothers of the victims, it wasn't meant as a memorial.
