King Von's debut album Welcome To O'Block was released a week before he was shot to death on November 6, 2020.
It did about 25K and finished 13 on the album chart in its opening frame.
In its second week -- post-death --it did 45K and jumped to number five.
Given the increased interest in Von, a posthumous album was inevitable.
Von's second studio album What It Means To Be King dropped Friday and has features from 21 Savage, Polo G, Moneybagg Yo, Lil Durk, G Herbo, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, Fivio Foreign, and more.
It is slated for a 60-65k first week, which will be the biggest week of Von's career.
However, it doesn't look like it will match the posthumous power Pop Smoke's Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon achieved.
