Final Numbers For Chris Brown, Yo Gotti, Big K.R.I.T. And 21 Savage & Offset

by HHL Editors

Last week turned into a huge week for Hip Hop releases.

Big K.R.I.T., Ty Dolla $ign, Yelawolf, Snoop Dogg and Yo Gotti dropped projects on Friday, the traditional album release day. Then a Chris Brown album and a project from 21 Savage, Offset and Metro Boomin came on Tuesday, Halloween.

We now have the final numbers on all of those albums:

Chris Brown's Heartbreak On A Full Moon did 55,891 sales plus streaming (25,042 traditional), while 21 Savage, Offset and Boomin's Without Warning did 47,640 SPS (10,766.)

The albums which had a few more days to get spins and buys got fewer of them:

Big K.R.I.T.'s 4eva Is A Mighty Long Time did 35,200 SPS (22,483), Ty's Beach House 3 took in 29,890 SPS (6,558), Yo Gotti's I Still Am did 29,169 SPS (12,201) and Yelawolf's Trail By Fire accumulated  12,217 SPS (9,852.)

Snoop's EP Make America Crip Again didn't make the top 50, meaning it did less than 10K.

Although Brown had the biggest Hip Hop release of the week, he's not going to be happy with his numbers. It's the worst opening week of his career and comes after he gave his fans detailed instruction on how to game the charts.

Brown complained about his short week on Instagram.

It should be noted that the majority of first-week sales usually come in the first few days, and all the streams that artists now accumulate on singles released before their album drops count the same no matter how long your opening week.
