Fetty Wap Breaks Down How Many Cars He Bought For His Friends & Family

Fetty Wap was living the high life after he dropped his self-titled album in 2015, and he shared some of that good fortune with those around him.

In an interview with DJ Akademiks — where he spoke about why he and Drake aren't cool anymore — Fetty said that he bought a bunch of cars for his friends and family.

Ak said that he heard about the car purchases at that time and guessed Fetty bought about 50 vehicles. But the Jersey rapper said it was even more than that.

"Yeah, 72," Fetty confirmed. "[I was buying cars for] damn near everybody. At that time, bro, like I said, I just wanted everybody to be happy ... In order for me to try to take control of what was going on in my area, I felt like I had to show people... Just because I made it, doesn't mean you didn't."
