FERG Explains Why He's Still Riding For Diddy Amid His Legal Woes

by Daryl Nelson

FERG stopped by The Breakfast Club yesterday to promote his new album DAROLD, which was released last week.

At the very start of the interview, Charlamagne tha God talked about FERG dropping the A$AP from his name.

The Harlem rapper said the name change represents a different era of his career, similar to Diddy changing his name throughout the years.

Charlamagne then asked FERG if this was his baby oil era, a reference to the feds finding 1,000 bottles of the stuff when they raided Diddy's homes earlier this year.

And that's when FERG defended Diddy against all of the sex crimes he's been accused of. [Jump to the 44-second mark].

"Diddy is my family and I love his family," he said. "I don’t know all of what’s going on with this case and everything like that and it’s a bunch of hearsay. Really it’s like, 1,000 bottles of baby oil? What’s that have to do anything with him being a bad man? He’s just a rich man with a bunch of baby oil."

Why do you think people like to focus so much on Diddy's stash of baby oil?
