Fat Joe played a big role in the reheated beef between Eminem and Nick Cannon that's been on everyone's plate this week.
Em neutered Cannon on Joe's new track "Lord Above," likely in response to Nick's recent claims that he thought about beating Shady up back when they were feuding about Cannon's then-girl Mariah Carey.
In response to hearing his name on wax, Cannon has hit Eminem with back-to-back diss tracks.
TMZ caught up with Joe and asked him about what his track had wrought.
"I didn't plan nothin', I'm an innocent bystander," Joe said. "I'm taking the high road ... Let me tell you something. I love Nick Cannon, he's a good guy. Eminem's a very good friend of mine and they got they little personal hip hop thing going, you know what I'm saying?
Nick Cannon is a money magnet," Joe continued. "He's a talented man. He's a beautiful person. But when you talk rap, you talk Eminem's a GOAT. There's just no way he's...he's an alien in this rap game."
