Fat Joe said his new Family Ties album, which features Eminem, is comparable to Dr. Dre's 1992 classic The Chronic and a straight up masterpiece. [Jump to 1:08 mark.]
"Some of the stuff I say is crazy and people cringe, but I look at it as a 2020 Dr. Dre's Chronic," said Joe, who recently said he's thinking about retiring. "It's undeniably a classic. The biggest hater on Earth is going to hear this album and he got no choice but to call it a classic ... But the way you see the feature list, you might just think it's a bunch of features. Some people get some features and put everything together. This album, it's almost like Hamilton, to where 10 from now we could probably make a play of it."
