Halloween got truly scary last night at 1 OAK in West Hollywood when Famous Dex, who was performing at the club, suffered a seizure on stage.
Dex was transported backstage by his handlers after he collapsed. Somebody called 911 and the rescue squad came but Dex wasn't taken to the hospital.
Today, a rep for Dex issued a statement.
"We wish Famous Dex a speedy recovery after his epileptic seizure last night. He is currently in good spirits and hopes to return back to finishing his new album. He thanks all his fans for their prayers and well wishes."
Dex's drug use and mental health has had fans worried for some time. In 2017, he was hospitalized after ODing on lean. Last year, he notoriously nodded off during an Instagram Live session, and this summer he posted a social media message with the caption "killing myself.
Dex has said he's been trying to quit lean and Xanax but this latest incident is an ominous sign.
