Boosie Badazz Bait: Facebook Is Changing Its Name

Big changes are happening over at Facebook...

Just a few weeks after Boosie Badazz claims he took down the social media giant, Facebook is announcing the change of their name to "Meta."

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced Thursday at his company’s Connect event that the change was coming.

“We are a company that builds technology to connect. Together, we can finally put people at the center of our technology. And together, we can unlock a massively bigger creator economy. 

One of the biggest reasong for the change, Facebook doesn't want to be known as just a social media company, and are hyperfocused on Zuckerberg’s plans for building the metaverse.

Facebook says they are aiming for the change to Meta.org around March 31st, 2022, and that the social platform facebook.com will remain up and called Facebook.
