Fabolous Says Drake Apologized For Diss In Rolling Stone Mag

Lots of things went wrong with Drake's Rolling Stone interview earlier this year. For starters, Phillip Seymour Hoffman died. This cost Drizzy the February cover he had been promised, and caused a bit of a social media meltdown for which Drake later apologized.

Then, in what had become a non-cover story, Drake smacked both Kanye West and Fabolous in comments about West's album Yeezus. "There were some real questionable bars on there," Drake said in the article. "Like that ‘Swaghili’ line? Come on, man. Even Fabolous wouldn't say some shit like that."

We know that Drake and Kanye dealt with the fallout from the article quickly; patching things up by blaming the media for stirring things up.

What we didn't know, until now, was how Fabolous handled his name getting dragged into things. Los would have been quick to respond in his younger days. But, as the 37 year old explained to MTV, he takes a different approach to such things these days and held off on getting on Twitter and firing back. According to Fabolous, when he saw Drake at a Nike Brand event a bit after the article came out Drizzy came right up to him to apologize.

"I was shocked," he said about the article. "Out of that conversation where they were talking about Jay and Kanye, for my name to come up in that mix, it definitely seemed like it was spoken up. It’s over, it’s under the bridge. I got a lot of respect for what Drake does and he’s expressed to me personally, so we move on from there."
